Sweet Potato Chocolate Nut Cake

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Butter and lightly flour a tube pan then mix melted chocolate together with the vanilla.
  2. Sift together the dry ingredients and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl beat the sweet potatoes and oil together then add eggs one at a time until blended.
  4. Slowly add the dry ingredients and mix well then stir in the nuts.
  5. Place 1/3 of the mixture in another bowl and stir in the chocolate mixture.
  6. Alternate batters in pan then swirl through layers with a knife to get a marble effect.
  7. Bake at 350 for 75 minutes then let cool for 10 minutes in pan.
  8. Remove from pan and cool completely on a rack.
