Sweet Potato-Apple Casserole

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cook sweet potatoes till almost done (may use canned sweet potatoes).
  2. Place in a glass baking dish (12x8x2-inch).
  3. Layer apple slices on top of potatoes.
  4. Mix syrup, butter and salt; pour over potatoes.
  5. Cover with aluminum foil.
  6. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
  7. Remove foil and bake an additional 30 minutes, or until apples are done.
  8. Baste frequently.
