Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • 3 tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 tbsp. hot water
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups icing sugar

Directions:

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the sugar, peanut butter and corn syrup.
  2. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  3. Take off heat quickly and add rice krispies and peanuts.
  4. Press into a greased 8 x8 pan and prepare icing
  5. Cream the butter and blend in the cocoa, hot water and vanilla.
  6. Add the icing sugar slowly and beat until creamy.
