Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup. chopped nuts-whatever you prefer
  • 1/4 cup. butter
  • 1 egg
  • a jar of jam - whatever you prefer - apricot is popular as is raspberry
  • 2 tsp. water and some almond extract
  • you be the judge of how much you wish to drizzle over the top of cookies. you do not want a lot.

Directions:

  1. Mix the cake mix, nuts, butter and egg together and spread on the bottom of a jellyroll pan. Spread the jam over the cake mixture. Bake at ~350 'til jam is bubbly. Prepare the frosting and drizzle over cookies while warm.
