Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp. maple syrup
  • 2 cups flour
  • confectioners' sugar

Directions:

  1. In large bowl,cream butter and sugar till light and fluffy. Add syrup. Combine flour and baking soda;gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well.
  2. Divide dough into eight portions. Roll each portion into 9 log.
  3. Place 3 apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 300 for 25 mins or till lightly browned.
  4. Cut into 1 slices. Remove to wire racks to cool. Dust with Confectioners' sugar.
