Ingredients:

  • 2 green peppers , deseeded and thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 tbsp paprika
  • 381 g (1 1/2 lb) beef steak, sliced thinly
  • 397 g (14oz) chopped tomatoes
  • 113 ml (4fl oz) stock
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper

Directions:

  1. Place the onions, peppers, garlic and paprika in a microwabable dish, stir to mix evenly and cover with kitchen paper. Microwave on HIGH for 5-6 minuetes, stirring half way through the cooking time.
  2. Stir in the steak strips and tomatoes along with the stock and stir well. Cover and cook on MEDIUM (50%) for 45-55 minuets until the meat is tender. Season to taste.
  3. Leave to stand for 5 minuets before serving with a selection of vegetables.
  4. Alternativly put all ingredients into a slow cooker for about 4 hours.
