Susan's Sweet Mustard Sauce for Ham

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 tbsp dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/8 cup vinegar

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients (beat eggs first).
  2. Cook on low heat (3 or 4 to start).
  3. Whisk about every 2 minutes until thickened.
  4. Don't be tempted to cook on too high a heat as it will cause the eggs to curdle.
