  1. Boil potatoes and the garlic cloves together.
  2. When tender, mash with potato masher and add butter.
  3. Mash some more, add sour cream and enough of milk to desired consistency.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Top with a sprinkling of paprika and parsley flakes.
