Stumps Homemade Pudding

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 cup milk
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 6 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Melt in double boiler: 3oz unsweetened chocolate.
  2. Stir in slowly: 1c sugar, 3 1/2c milk, and 1/4tsp salt.
  3. Heat thes ingredients to boiling point.
  4. Dissolve 6T cornstarch in 1/2c milk.
  5. Stir the cornstarch slowly into the hot milk mixture.
  6. Cook over boiling water for 10 minutes stirring constantly.
  7. Cover and cook for 10 to 12 minutes more until you can no longer taste the cornctarch.
  8. Cool by stirring very gently.
  9. When slightly cool add 2 tsp vanilla.
