Strussel Top Coffee Cake

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup shortening
  • 1 egg
  • 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup non-fat milk
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup walnuts

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375.
  2. Mix first 7 ingredients together for about 1/2 minute. Spread half batter in greased pan.
  3. Mix strussel ingredients together. Sprinkle 1/2 on batter in pan. Top with rest of batter and then sprinkle rest of topping.
  4. Bake 25-35 minutes.
