Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In a mixing bowl cream butter and sugar.
  2. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well.
  3. Combine flour, baking powder and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well.
  4. Divide dough into 4 equal portions; shape each into 12 x 3/4- in log.
  5. Place 4 in apart on greased baking sheets.
  6. Make a 1/2 in depression down center of logs; fill with jam.
  7. Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned.
  8. Cool for 2 minutes; cut diagonally into 3/4 inches slices. Remove to wire rack to cool completely.
