Spinach Pecan Bake

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3 (10 oz) pkges. frozen leaf spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp pepper

Directions:

  1. Saute onion in butter .In a large bowl, combine onion, spinach, cream, pecans, 1/3 cup bread crumbs, salt, nutmeg and pepper; mix well.
  2. Transfer to a greased 1 1/2 quart baking dish.
  3. Combine 1/4 cup bread crumbs and melted butter; sprinkle over the spinach mixture.
  4. .Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
