Spicy Nut Popcorn

Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp butter or margarine
  • 1 cup pine nuts or pecans
  • 3/4 cup slivered almonds
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 (33.5-oz) bag low-fat popcorn, popped

Directions:

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat; add pine nuts and next 7 ingredients, and sauté 3 to 4 minutes. Pour warm mixture over popcorn, tossing to coat.
  2. NOTE: For testing purposes only, we used Orville Redenbacher's Smart Pop Gourmet Popping Corn.
