Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In a bowl, gently toss peaches, 1 cup of sugar and extract; set aside.
  2. Pour butter into a 2-qt. baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt and remaining sugar; stir in milk.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Pour evenly over batter (do not stir).
  6. Top with peach mixture.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-55 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Serve with ice cream if desired.
  9. Yield: 8 servings.
