Ingredients:

  1. This starter is the same as starter #2 but uses warm Milk instead of water.
  2. Mix flour and milk to make a thick batter.
  3. Let stand uncovered for four or five days, or until it begins working.
  4. This basic recipe requires a carefully scalded container.
