Ingredients:

  • 2 medium apples (such as gala)

Directions:

  1. Peel apples and cut into 1/4 thick rounds.
  2. Simmer 2 inches of water in a medium pan. Working in batches, submerge apple slices for 40 seconds.
  3. Transfer to paper towels with a slotted spoon; let cool.
