So Easy Chocolate Candy Squares

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, melted
  • 2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs
  • 1 (6 oz) package chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cups flaked coconut
  • 1 cup brown sugar (firmly packed)

Directions:

  1. Set oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Grease a 13 x 9-in pan.
  3. Pour melted butter in bottom of baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle Vanilla wafer crumbs evenly over butter.
  5. Sprinkle walnuts over crumbs.
  6. Sprinkle chocolate chips over nuts.
  7. Sprinkle coconut over chocolate.
  8. Combine evaporated milk with brown sugar, stir until smooth.
  9. Pour evenly over layers.
  10. Bake for 22-25 mins (don't overbake!).
  11. Cool for 1 hour.
  12. Cut into squares.
