Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 3/4 cup sifted flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp sugar

Directions:

  1. Blend together shortening sugar and eggs
  2. In separate bowl sift together flour cream of tartar baking soda and salt
  3. Add together mix well
  4. Roll into 2-3 inch balls
  5. In deep-ish dish mix cinnamon and sugar together
  6. Roll balls in sugar cinnamon mix
  7. Place balls 2 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet
  8. Bake 400 for 8- 10 min
