Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup water
  • salt and pepper

Directions:

  1. Peel and Cut Potatoes into 1/2 cubes.
  2. Place into large pot with lid.
  3. Pour water over potatoes and turn on med/high heat until water begins to boil.
  4. Place stick of butter on top of potatoes, sprinkle with salt/pepper, reduce heat to low/med and place lid on pot.
  5. Let cook for 30 minutes, remove lid and check potatoes for tenderness. If not tender, place lid and cook in 10 minute intervals. (Try not to stir potatoes so that they stay a chuncky consistancy.).
  6. Once tender, remove from heat and stir lightly so that the butter covers all potatoes.
  7. Enjoy.
