Simple and Delicious Chicken and Rice Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 1 (6 oz) box uncle bens wild rice
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (4 oz) can mushroom stems and pieces (do not drain)
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tbsp italian seasoning

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Empty contents of Uncle Ben's Original Long-Grain Wild Rice into an 8 x 8 glass baking dish.
  3. Mix mushroom soup, 1/2 cup water, mushrooms (undrained), onion and Italian seasoning with rice.
  4. Place chicken breasts on top of rice mixture and sprinkle with more Italian Seasoning.
  5. Bake in preheated oven until chicken is cooked through and rice is tender.
  6. Allow chicken to cool. Remove skin and discard. Tear chicken into bite-sized pieces and mix into rice mixture.
  7. Enjoy!
