Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Heat covered 6-quart pot of water to boiling on high. Add 2 tsp. salt.
  2. In 12-inch skillet, melt 1/2 tablespoon butter. Add bread crumbs and cook 2-3 minutes or until golden brown, stirring frequently. Stir in pinch salt and freshly ground black pepper. Transfer to plate.
  3. In same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons butter on medium. Stir in onions and 1/4 tsp. salt. Cover and cook 20 minutes or until golden and very tender, stirring occasionally.
  4. Meanwhile, add pasta to boiling water in pot. Cook 4 minutes less than minimum time that label directs, stirring occasionally. Add shrimp and broccoli and cook 3 minutes. Reserve 1 cup pasta cooking water. Drain pasta mixture and return to pot.
  5. Add onion mixture, reserved cooking water, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper, and remaining 1/2 tablespoon butter. Cook on medium 2 minutes, tossing to coat. To serve, top with reserved toasted bread crumbs.
