Ingredients:

  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup shortening
  • 5 tbsp cold water
  • 1 tsp vinegar

Directions:

  1. Combine flour and salt in a large bowl; cut in shortening with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal. Combine water, egg, and vinegar; add to flour mixture. Stir with a fork until dry ingredients are moistened. Shape dough into a ball; chill. Use as directed in desired recipe.
