Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 1/2 cups hot water

Directions:

  1. Mix dry ingredients together until crumbs form.
  2. Put aside 1/2 cup of crumb mixture.
  3. Mix together the wet mix ingredients.
  4. Mix together the dry mix bowl and the wet mix bowl until creamy.
  5. Pour into cupcake pans and top with crumbs that were set aside.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
