Shirley's Homemade Biscuits

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt (scant)
  • 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup shortening

Directions:

  1. Mix together, and roll out into a floured surface, to about 1/2 thick.
  2. Use a round cutter or glass dipped in flour, to cut out biscuits.
  3. Place on greased pan, and bake at 450 oven,.
  4. About 12-15 minutes, or until brown on top.
