Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Combine butter, sugars, peanut butter, eggs and vanilla in a mixing bowl.
  2. Mix, creaming well.
  3. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
  4. Add rolled oats and mix well.
  5. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture.
  6. Mix until well blended.
  7. Spread batter into a greased 12-by-18-inch cookie pan with sides.
  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
  9. Do not over-bake.
  10. For the glaze: Combine powdered sugar and peanut butter.
  11. Gradually add hot water.
  12. Spread glaze on warm Peanut Butter Chews.
  13. Cut while warm.
  14. Cookies will be of a chewy consistency.
