Ingredients:

  • 1-1/4 cups fresh baby carrots , cut in half lengthwise
  • 2 cups frozen peas
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/8 tsp sugar
  • 1/8 tsp pepper

Directions:

  1. Place carrots in a small saucepan with enough water to cover. Bring to a boil. Cover and cook for 4-5 minutes or until crisp-tender adding the peas during the last 3 minutes of cooking; drain. Stir in the remaining ingredients until butter is melted. Yield: 4 servings.
