Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Toast bread slice and cut into 4 triangles.
  2. Thinly spread 1/4 tsp of jam on each triangle toast.
  3. Cut lox into 4 pieces big enough to cover each piece of toast.
  4. Layer toast triangles with a thin slice of lox.
  5. Place one small piece of herring on top of each piece of lox.
  6. Place 1/2 tsp of tomato tapanade on top of herring.
  7. Sprinkle a few drops of lemon juice on all.
  8. Crack fresh black pepper on all to taste.
