Ingredients:

  • 1 cup milk plus 3 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup raw rice
  • 1/3 cup split green bean ( mung dal ) , roasted in 1/2 tbsp butter ( optional )
  • 1 cup jaggery in 1/4 cup water boiled until thread consistency .
  • 1 tbsp nuts and raisins roasted in 1 tbsp butter

Directions:

  1. Boil the milk mixed with water .
  2. Add the rice and dhal to it .
  3. Simmer for 10 mins .
  4. Add the nuts , raisins and cardamoms .
  5. Once fully cooked and sticky , mix the syrup in .
  6. Serve piping HOT .
