Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cook Zatarans according to the box
  2. Note: Don't use as much water as box suggests....use a little less otherwise it will be too soupy!
  3. Cook on stove top or in microwave (I prefer stove top)
  4. Although box calls for butter or margerine, I used olive oil instead so that it will not stick to the pan and tastes much better too!
  5. When cooked (according to box)
  6. Add: Corn - amount to taste
  7. Add: Salsa - amount to taste
  8. Add - Hunts Fire Roasted Diced Tomatoes - amount to taste
  9. Cut up apple (any kind) with skin left on into tiny pieces add to rice/beans
  10. Can add other vegetables as well, your choice
  11. Delicious when served cold-I've tried it both ways and it's delicious.
  12. Enjoy!
