Red-Hot Apple Butter Crock Pot

Ingredients:

  • 1 (48 oz) jar applesauce
  • 2 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Combine ingredients in a crockpot.
  2. Cook on high about 12-18 hours.
  3. Sometimes it takes longer, depending on thickness of the applesauce.
  4. Cook until it turn dark brown and thickens.
  5. It can be stored in the refrigerator or canned in a water bath for 20 minute.
