Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 cups diced apples
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg

Directions:

  1. Combine sugar, oil, eggs, and apples in a bowl and mix well with wooden spoon.
  2. In separate bowl, sift together dry ingredients (remaining ingredients).
  3. Add dry ingredients to wet and mix well.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour in a greased 9x13 pan.
  5. **NOTE: Cake will be a dark brown color when it is done. That is normal. It will be delicious.
