Ingredients:

  • 1 cup. sugar
  • 1/4 cup. butter or margarine
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 cup. plain flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup. cloves
  • 1 cup. raisins
  • 1 cup. pecans

Directions:

  1. Cream butter and sugar.
  2. Add soda to soup, stir and add to first mixture, then add flour, salt and spices.
  3. Stir in nuts and raisins.
  4. Bake in loaf pan at 350 degrees.
  5. Frost with cream cheese frosting.

  7. Cream Cheese Frosting:
  8. 2 pkgs. cream cheese
  9. XXXX sugar
  10. Soften cream cheese to room temperature.
  11. Add sufficient sugar to make spreading consistencey.
