Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 lb raisins
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Boil water
  2. Pour boiling water over raisins, salt, and soda
  3. Let sit until reaching room temperature
  4. Adde all other ingredients in into a large bowel and mix by hand until combined
  5. Bake at 325 F for 1-1/2 hours
