Ingredients:

  • 75 g butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 50 g raisins
  • milk (if necessary)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C Grease a patty tin or use paper cups.
  2. Sift flour and baking powder.
  3. Cream fat and sugar until mixture is light and creamy. Add in vanilla essence.
  4. Beat egg and add it gradually to the mixture, beating well after each addition.
  5. Fold in the sifted flour with a metal spoon.
  6. Add a little milk if necessary to give it a soft dropping consistency.
  7. Mix in the raisins.
  8. Fill greased patty tin or paper cups half full with the mixture.
  9. Bake for 20 minutes.
