Ingredients:

  • 1 cup shortening
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg

Directions:

  1. Cream together shortening and sugar. beat in eggs 1 at a time. Stir in vanilla and pumpkin. Add flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix well. Add chocolate chips
  2. Bake at 375 for 10-12 min on a greased cookie sheet. Allow cookies to cool slightly on baking sheet before moving to a cooling rack.
