Ingredients:

  • 1 (15 oz) can pumpkin puree
  • 4 eggs
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 3 cups white sugar
  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp allspice
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease and flour 3 7x3” loaf pans.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together pumpkin puree, eggs, oil, water and sugar until well blended.
  4. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and ginger.
  5. Stir the dry ingredients into the pumpkin mixture until just blended.
  6. Pour into the prepared pans.
  7. I sprinkle the top with raw sugar and more med pieces of nuts.
  8. Bake for about 60 minutes.
  9. Loaves are done when toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
