Ingredients:

  • 1 medium onion, grated
  • 1/2 stick of butter
  • 4 tbsp. flour
  • milk (about 1 qt.)

Directions:

  1. Saute onions with butter.
  2. Add flour and cook until flour is cooked.
  3. Add milk and potatoes;simmer on low heat until potatoes are done
  4. I sometimes add crumbled cooked bacon, or cubed ham.
