Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cup. frozen hash browns
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup. sifted, all purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup. cooking oil

Directions:

  1. Rinse frozen potatoes in hot water until defrosted, drain
  2. In mixing bowl beat egg whites with salt until stiff peaks.
  3. In another bowl beat yolks lightly, pour over egg whites. Fold.
  4. Sprinkle in flour, fold, fold in potatoes.
  5. Heat oil
  6. Drop batter by tablespoons.
  7. Fry one min on each side.
