Ingredients:

  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp allspice
  • 1/8 tsp clove
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan with enough water to make mushy.
  2. Simmer on low heat, stirring occasionally for 2 hours until water is evaporated.
  3. Note: Sometimes it is necessary to add a little more water, while the pork is cooking and just continue simmering until water has evaporated.
  4. Put in bowl and keep refrigerated.
  5. Serve in a sandwich, on crackers, or on toast.
