Pork Chops With Hoisin and Lime

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 4 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp gingerroot, minced
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 6 pork chops , pork loin chops, centre-cut, bone-in ( either thick or thin)

Directions:

  1. In a bowl, combine hoisin sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, garlic, ginger and pepper. Slash edges of pork chops to prevent curling. Place pork chops in a 9 x 13 pan, and pour marinade over, turning to coat; let stand for at least 30 minutes, or for up to 24 hours (if this is the case, cover and refrigerate, turning occasionally).
  2. Place chops on greased grill. Broil, turning once, until juices run clear when pork is pierced, about 8 minutes.
