Ingredients:

  • 1 (12 oz) can beef consomme
  • 1 (12 oz) can water
  • 1 medium onion, sliced in rings

Directions:

  1. Place uncooked rice in bottom of a greased dish.
  2. Cover rice with sliced onion.
  3. Lay pork chops over onion and rice.
  4. Salt and pepper.
  5. Pour beef consomme and water over all.
  6. Bake in covered dish for 1 hour at 450 degrees F.
  7. I always decrease the rice it calls for because, we are not big rice eaters.
