Poppys Favorite Banana Bread With Variations

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup nuts

Directions:

  1. Cream butter & sugar
  2. Add eggs and vanilla
  3. Add dry ingredients; mix
  4. Add bananas, nuts, and sour cream
  5. Bake in a greased loaf pan at 350 for 1 hour for mini loaves for 45 minutes
  6. Variation: substiture pumpkin for banana omit nuts
  7. Add 1 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg.
