Poochie's Peanut Butter Swirls

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/3 cups water
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup cornmeal
  • 1/3 cup peanut butter
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 2 tbsp molasses
  • 2/3 cup cornmeal

Directions:

  1. Combine all #1 ingredients and mix thoroughly. Knead on a lightly floured surface. Set aside.
  2. Combine all #2 ingredients and mix thoroughly.Knead on a lightly floured surface till smooth.
  3. Roll each dough seperately to a 1/8 thickness, into rectangles.
  4. Lightly brush a little water over top of light colored dough.
  5. Place the dark dough on top, then roll up like a jelly roll. Wrap the roll in plastic wrap and chill in the freezer for one hour.
  6. Slice the roll into 1/4 slices.
  7. Place them on a cookie sheet sprayed with non stick spray.
  8. Bake at 350* for about one hour or lightly browned.
