Gingerbread Oatmeal Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 -1 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp orange zest
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 (1/4 oz) package active dry yeast

Directions:

  1. In bread machine pan, place all ingredients in order suggested by manufacturer.
  2. Select basic bread setting.
  3. Bake according to bread machine directions, but check dough after 5 minutes of mixing and add 1-2 tablespoons of water or flour if needed).
