Plums in Red Wine

Ingredients:

  • 1 quart plums
  • 2 to 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 cup light red wine ( beaujolais is ideal)

Directions:

  1. Halve, pit and quarter the plums. Sprinkle with the sugar, add the red wine to almost cover the plums. Macerate 1 hour.
