Ingredients:

  • 4 lbs plums
  • 1 1/2 lbs sugar
  • 1 tsp clove, ground
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper (or to taste)
  • 2 pints vinegar
  • 2 oz garlic

Directions:

  1. Boil all for 2 hours, Skim off stones. Put through a sieve and pour into air tight bottles or jars.
