Pioneer Woman Apple Dumplings

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups butter
  • 1/2 tbsp vanilla
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 (16 oz) can crescent roll dough
  • 1 (12 oz) can mountain dew soda

Directions:

  1. Core, peel and dice the apples.
  2. (The more the bruises the better the taste for this recipe).
  3. Butter a 13X9 inch baking pan.
  4. Unroll dough and roll each apple slice in one square.
  5. Lay each on the buttered baking pan.
  6. Melt 2 sticks butter in a saucepan.
  7. Dump in sugar.
  8. Barely stir but add vanilla.
  9. You want the mix grainy and lumpy.
  10. Pour to coat over dumplings.
  11. Pour mountain dew around pan.
  12. Sprinkle with cinnamon and bake 350 degreses fr 40 minutes.
