Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cream together butter and powdered sugar. Add vanilla,mix well.
  2. Gradually add flour and ground nuts(if using) and mix well. Knead dough and then cover and refrigerate 1 hour.
  3. While the gough is chilling,prepare the filling by beating together cream cheese,powdered sugar,milk,crushed candy and food coloring till welll blended.
  4. Preheat oven to 350. Roll the doughinto balls(about the size of a teaspoon). Make an indentation in the center of each ball and fill with 1/4tsp of filling. Cover indentation with another 1/4 tsp dough.
  5. Smooth and reshape balls. Combine topping ingredients in bowl. Roll dough balls in topping and place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 until firm,about 12 mins. After removing from oven,roll warm cookies in topping once again.
