Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Line the bottom and sides of an 8 x 4 x 2 inch loaf pan with foil.
  2. Grease foil with 1 1/2 t.
  3. Butter; set aside.
  4. In a small mixing bowl, beat cream cheese.
  5. Gradually beat in confectioners' sugar, cocoa, milk and vanilla.
  6. Stir in the nuts.
  7. Spread into prepared pan.
  8. Chill for 1 hour or until firm.
  9. For peppermint layer, beat cream cheese in a small mixing bowl.
  10. Gradually beat in confectioners' sugar, milk and extract.
  11. Stir in peppermint candy.
  12. Spread evenly over chocolate layer.
  13. Chill for about one hour or until firm.
  14. Using foil, lift fudge from pab.
  15. Gently peel off foil.
  16. Cut into squares.
