Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Sift dry ingredients together into bowl.
  2. Stir milk into egg and add to dry ingredients and mix well.
  3. Mix in the apples.
  4. Drop batter by spoonfuls into deep oil heated to 365º and fry about 3 minutes. Turn fritters during frying to brown both sides. Drain on absorbent paper. Makes about 1 1/2 dozen fritters.
